Time to Grow

[this is good]
Oh, yay! It IS exciting! I'm also getting a tickle of watching our little patio garden grow.
Your grass is SO GREEN! It looks fake. Like this artificial grass that is all the rage over here in SoCal because it basically eliminates watering and never needs to be mowed.

I'm jealous.
It has rained every other day for the past two months which makes for a world of green, my lawn and trees included. I wouldn't mind it except for our clay soil doesn't handle the water well and ends up creating horrible mud puddles. Mud on my shoes, in the house, even on my elbows!

But I can't complain, I'd much rather have green and mud together than sand and astroturf. :)
Oh! What are you growing in your containers?
We bought a Topsy Turvey for the balcony and are growing tomatoes, crookneck squash, and bell peppers in one, and strawberries in the small one (though it may be too hot already for strawberries.) And we have a pot of banana wax peppers growing, too. :-D
I've always wondered about those upside down hanging planters, you'll have to keep me posted on their progress. Such a great idea of small spaces!
