I'm still angry with myself for missing her show last month when she opened for Ben Sollee. Only wild horses or a nasty fever would have kept me away. The cold did it, although horses would have made for a better story. Isn't she amazing?!
Disney has released the first promotional photos from Tim Burton’s 3D version of Alice in Wonderland. From the looks of things it's going to be heart poundingly beautiful... peek. Now if only I had a time machine and could skip ahead to the release date 3/5/10!
I forget how therapeutic writing can be.
Well I'm back from seven days on the North Carolina shore and although it feels good to be home and back reality, I can't help but miss the constant laughter and overall fun that my friends created during this trip. It's odd since I had worried about sharing a beach house with 9 people, I was afraid of petty bickering, of messes, of the lack of privacy but it all went beautifully. Everyone did their part, sharing chores and cooking, and not a single argument was muttered.
I laughed every single day, from morning to midnight, and had a fantastic time but now that I'm home its quiet and routine. What I once found comfort in is a little dulled by the sand and sunny memories of my friends and our week together on the shore.
It's a trip I'll never forget.
