Well I'm back from seven days on the North Carolina shore and although it feels good to be home and back reality, I can't help but miss the constant laughter and overall fun that my friends created during this trip. It's odd since I had worried about sharing a beach house with 9 people, I was afraid of petty bickering, of messes, of the lack of privacy but it all went beautifully. Everyone did their part, sharing chores and cooking, and not a single argument was muttered.
I laughed every single day, from morning to midnight, and had a fantastic time but now that I'm home its quiet and routine. What I once found comfort in is a little dulled by the sand and sunny memories of my friends and our week together on the shore.
It's a trip I'll never forget.
